Formerly a 35 yr veteran in the automotive industry, this whole Back to Eden process is like pulling a tailpipe out of my mouth and breathing real air again. I'll have my PDC from Geoff Lawton in June, 2014, a course that I thoroughly enjoy, even if it's mostly whiteboard and theory. I used to volunteer in the SPICE program (Student Parent Interactive Classroom Experience) while raising my kids, so I would enjoy working with young people of all ages, even the tall children called adults. This is a concept in learning called ECOS Adventure, (Environmental Conservation, Observation and Support), where working together with others in an outdoor classroom setting will help promote permaculture and sustainability design projects that showcase alternative energy systems, food forest planning, fish production, natural building techniques, wild edibles, and medicinal herbs. Treehouse cottages will be connected with ziplines, suspension bridges and nature trails that explore the watershed. Learning is the object. Fun is the process.
