Hi. I was born and raised in Indonesia but come from European and American heritage.
After going to university in California, I came back to Indonesia to see how I could apply my skills in the working world.
After a few trials at some interesting jobs, I decided on eco tourism. I founded a small eco resort on a set of islands, and learned all about eco tourism and eco technology. We experimented with solar panels, rain water catchment, composting, growing veggies and herbs, building with driftwood, sourcing eco friendly products, etc.
In 2011 I took a course by the new crocodile dundee, John Champagne :~) It was an amazing course and it gave me much inspiration.
After the islands, I also took on a project to revamp a bamboo bar and simple restaurant in Jakarta. It has now become a hub of sorts, and is one of the first eco hubs in Jakarta.
On May 18th 2014 we hosted our first permablitz bringing together permaculture enthusiasts from Yogyakarta and the green community in Jakarta.
