I am a young global professional, born in London and grew up somewhere between Cyprus, Dubai, Greece and the UK.
My past professions have been in or around the service industry, working as an events organiser, bartending and managing cafes, bars and clubs. In 2012 I found my fascination with Natural Building and through this began a chain that linked me to Permaculture and other regenerative agricultural techniques. In 2014 I left Cyprus, where I was living and working and ventured to Thailand to complete a PDC. After I got my Certificate I visited various projects, learning techniques in Water Management, Waste Management, Natural Building and the importance of Community.
From there I travelled to Sweden and attended a 10 Week Professional Permaculture Accelerator Training Internship at Ridgedale Farm. I was a part of the first Interns who helped establish the farm and the practical experience was invaluable.
Since then I returned to Cyprus in 2016 and rented an apartment in the heart of the capital city of Nicosia. I have began restoration and adapted it into rooms for rent. I also have a modular space for film screenings, classes and workshops such as Yoga and Meditation. These are my forms of income for the rent and for the roof terrace where I aim to grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and fish using Aquaponics. I plan to supply the Old Walled City with healthy organic produce for local businesses such as restaurants, cafes and bars.
