About Tim Engbrecht

I am a former high school teacher from Winnipeg, Canada, who has re-located with my family to a small rural community adjacent to Riding Mountain National Park.

While I have been interested in sustainable living, ethical resource management, and food security since the early 1990s, it has only been in the last decade that I have begun to identify with the title "permaculture".

I have taken Geoff Lawton's Permaculture Design Course, and am currently developing the 6 acre property where we live. I am interested in participating in permaculture education, where my teaching background could be put to use extending this movement as quickly and broadly as possible.
