I am a husband to my beautiful wife Rebekah and father to 4 wonderful children.

Several years ago, our health digressed to chronic illnesses that called for healthy eating. We took up the primal diet (vegetables, meats, healthy fats, fruits and natural sweeteners like honey). Since we insist on organic foods, our food budget sky rocketed. At the same time we looked at our plates and realized that the meats and veggies we were eating could have been grown on the farm relatively inexpensively. We wanted to expand the farm but wondered how to streamline it. A friend showed me a permaculture video online and a terminal "permy" was born!

I'm presently involved in my project of "100 Days of Growing Food" on YouTube. I have produced two films "Permaculture Chickens" and "The Great American Farm Tour".

On my homestead, I raise pasture based cattle, pigs, lambs and chickens. I have completed my PRI PDC with Geoff Lawton and plan to streamline our farm based on permaculture principles and grow into a learning institute.
