(projects i'm following)
I'm originally from Arkansas, USA. Was raised working on my grandparents home garden, where they grew most of their diet and canned most of it to save for emergencies. I love cooking and was what I set out to do after high school but ended up in the IT field and Cell Phone Tower work. I am very adventurous and do a lot climbing, which is how I got into the Cell Phone Tower industry. I worked on that for 7 years and then got the Life Call to move to Costa Rica and help my best friend do something with his land.
We started with a aguaponics project. Being from the IT field and from the YouTube / Google generation, I dove right into the internet to get more information on what to do and how others were doing it. This lead me to the rabbit hole called "Permaculture". I did a lot of online classes and lots of research into the subject. I did all this research 2 years before I even got my PDC. A local friend was doing Permaculture Workshops which i participated in and helped out in the teachings. We had a consultation with a Permaculturalist and from there turned our property into a permaculture farm.
Now I have lots of experience in Aganuaponics, Permaculture Design Techniques, Food Forests, Natural Building ( cob, bamboo, earth bag, rammed earth, and earthships ), Rainwater catchment, soil testing and amendments, Composting Methods, Black Solider Fly Larva Production, Mycology Services, Holistic services, Trash programs to become 99% trash free, Journeyman Electrician, Grey and Black water management, Animal Husbandry ( Chickens, Ducks, Horses, bees, and domestic animals), Tree trimming, Community Building, Biodynamics, and the list go on. I have doing this work for the past 2 years and have immersed myself in the Permaculture Rabbit Hole. I have a strong passion to ride the world of Non-biodegradable waste and finding a non-combustion form of renewable energy. I also have a few projects in the works doing reforestation, domestic animal services, and connecting farms together.
