I come from an agricultural background, I've been working for nearly ten years as a landscape designer in France.
I came across permaculture because of my work and natural interest into this kind of subject. My wife and i travelled round northern Europe and spent few weeks in different farms using permaculture principles and that was when we decided that it would become a big thing in our lives...
Today we are running a project in Senegal in a 3 hectares community half an hour from the capital. This year we are working on food forest settling, water harvesting strategies, soil improvement strategies mainly. We have given two years of our time to get this little community ready to run the project without us and hopefully impact local community. Next year we'll start to bring chickens in, to farm black soldier fly larvae and to make lot more biochar amongst other things...
