Patrick is now actively working as a permaculture teacher, designer and project manager at the Namkhan Project in Luang Prabang, Laos, after having successfully completed his 3, 6 and 12 month internship program with Geoff Lawton at Zaytuna Farm, home of the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia.
He is an accredited “International project manager” by PRI Australia and in process for PRI & UK teacher accreditation.
He have so far co teached a PDC course with Salah Hammad and David Spicer at Zaytuna Farm in 2016, where he also gained a lot of practical experience in system and community management (kitchen gardens, main crop, small & big animal systems, infrastructure).
He have successfully co-teached a PDC certificate course with Howard Story from PRI Asia in Laos in january 2017 and is now preparing other PDC courses, weekend introduction courses and practical workshops at the Namkhan Ecofarm in Luang Prabang.
He is also managing and designing the implementation of an internship programm and setting up the ecofarm business.
Before that he worked for several years as a wine tourism project manager for one of the most famous and top ranked wineries in the Bordeaux area: Château Gruaud Larose. Therefore he have a deep understanding about biodynamic winegrowing and terroirs.
Parallel to that he was also leading a community project in his neighbourhood to build up organic gardens and community life.
Patrick has a very international background. He speaks fluent French and German and is therefore capable to teach in multiple languages.
He was a project coordinator on a ecological farm tourism project for the Global Education Network (GLEN Europe) in Benin (West Africa) in 2006 and an Entrepreneur.
He did his first PDC course in France with Steve Read in 2014 and also participated to the “green living for sustainability” course at the Permaculture Research Foundation in Malta, part of the lifelong learning program of the European Union.
After that he took part to a Youth in Action Programme called “Take The Future in Your hands” in Hungary.
He have also an Higher National Diploma in Agricultural Management and A Bsc Degree in Hospitality management and is continuously training himself, part of a life long learning process.
