Community activist since the 1980s which became a lot more effective (& fun) from 1994, after doing 2 PDCs - 1st with Steven Read (now directing PC Université in France) then Andy Langford (now directing Gaia Uni) in the UK.

My PC diploma project was Green Adventure, an urban community transition initiative (see Green Adventure documentation on http://tinyurl.com/3s8razg): forest gardens, box scheme on LETS, community orchards, slum regeneration, community building, etc.

Many adventures later find me in the Canary Islands, since yr 2000, having set up www.NodoEspiral.net, an innovative node of the PC Academy in Spain, launching Integral Permaculture end 2010 (fed up with saying 'PC is about a lot more than gardens...), latest innovation being a year-long PDC+++ course online (action-learning at home required) in English & Spanish, compiling an ambitious e-book (www.PermaCultureScience.org) with the students + setting up an EcoVillage (www.8thlife.org) at home.
