(projects i'm involved in)
Together with some friends I started Open World Foundation in 2007 because of a perceived lack of places for dialogues on sustainability and resilience. As a consultant, coach and speaker on these themes coupled with leadership we started Open World Café in Stockholm the next year (2008), in March of this year (2011) we established Open World Villages as the rural counterpart to the Cafés in mostly urban centres.
We now have six Open World (partner) Cafés in five countries on four continents, and together we are looking at developing as many Open World Villages.
Permaculture and Agroforestry have been an intrinsic part of this development, and although I have not yet taken any formal courses I have visited permaculture centres, institutes, and projects in Sweden, Spain and Brazil. And I am looking forward to taking my first PDC!
I will fill this out more completely as time passes, in the meantime I invite anybody interested in our projects to visit:
www.openworldfoundation.org
There you will find a community of 400 + likeminded individuals from more than 20 countries, extensive photo library from permaculture projects, videos and blogs on sustainability, reslience and leadership.

Most interesting is perhaps our Open World Villages LAB being established on the mediterranean island of Mallorca, Spain.
