My journey with food systems and ecological studies began back in 2011.
Once a medicine student struggling to accept the half truths of the big Pharma system, I was inspired to make the switch to farming, and diving deep into learning as much as I could about the ecology above and beneath the soil.
Since 2011 I have managed 3 different farms, and since 2017 I have been managing an old estate here in Asheville NC.
In addition to my main job as a caretaker and ecological management, I run a company called Grow A Food Forest. Specializing in permaculture consulting and design as well as implementation and coaching.
In more recent years, my studies have brought me to focus strictly on soil biology.
I am now one of the founders of Microbe Earth, a soil microbiology company dedicated to restoring the microbiome of the soil.
