My story with Permaculture started with an introduction to permaculture in Bristol, already a herbalist, I remember falling completely in love with permaculture realising that the world itself is a garden and the herbs i had learnt to use were part of that natural world. Coupled with the the shock of hearing about peak oil for the first time, I new I'd never be the same..! I went on to complete my Design Course along with the Ecovillage training at Findhorn Ecovillage, and have since devoted my life to bringing the permaculture community of WA back to life. It is now in full swing and transition towns are starting to pop up spontaneously as we had initially hoped...

I have now been teaching permaculture for a large chunk of my adult life, I never fail to feel completely inspired and moved by the impact permaculture education has on the people I work with, and the amazing homes, farms & projects that my students go on to create. I am also incredibly lucky to work side by side with some of the best, most talented and incredibly knowledgable permie teachers in Perth.
