For the past few years I have been engaging sedentary people in the outdoors through my work in the voluntary sector. I am currently employed with BTCV Cymru and have enjoyed the privilege of introducing people to such worthwhile and empowering activities as green wood working, bushcraft and wildlife habitat creation.
Passionate about biodiversity since early childhood, I have long been baffled with regard to the current and not too distant generation`s seemingly consummate desire to work against nature rather than with it.
I discovered permaculture by chance and feel inspired and rejuvenated at the opportunity that Permaculture Design presents to us all to be of genuine benefit in the World.
In particular I am fascinated by the concept of food forests, mimicking nature`s tried and tested diverse design that I have long been in love with and fascinated by. I am studying for a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design, my intention being to embark on a learning journey and so be able to share as much knowledge as I can with as many as possible. I am excited about what is realistically achievable by enlightening my fellow man and womankind with regard to the holistic and regenerative practice of permaculture design and so contribute to effecting positive global change.
