My interest in permaculture stems from my overlapping interests in energy scarcity, the political economy of global finance, climate change, and ecological exhaustion. I envision permaculture as a positive solution to many of the challenges presented by these aforementioned issues.
I finished my PDC in the fall of 2010, and am currently completing a MA thesis in philosophy and religion. I hope to get out of my head and into the dirt as soon as I'm done! I'm interested in any local permaculture volunteer opportunities, and would gladly trade some design work in return for the opportunity to get my portfolio started. Furthermore, I hope to develop and encourage discussions relating the ethics of permaculture to contemporary economic, political and social realities through blogging, books studies, documentary viewings and the like.
