I am an American-born electronics engineer who started looking at environmental problems in the early 1990's. As time went on, I became more convinced of the urgency and more interested in the solutions.
My family and I migrated to Australia in the mid 2000's to find a place where we could be surrounded by Nature and have enough space for projects.
I took my PDC from the late Joe Polaischer on Rainbow Valley Farm in New Zealand. I find permaculture endlessly exciting and interesting as my overflowing library shows!
We're repairing our property of 22 acres using permaculture principles and techniques and are working on our site plan. My background in engineering and computers means I tend to be highly organised and like to apply techniques and procedures to problems. I try not to be too reductionist or rigid and to remember the holistic nature of permaculture!
