Brad Charles Melzer is an ecological designer and educator that has worked on many cutting-edge permaculture projects in the US and overseas. His expertise includes ecological water treatment systems (Eco-machines/Living Machines/Restorer Systems), organic agriculture (integrated agricultural systems/tropical & temperate), aquaculture/aquaponics, compost technologies, community organizing, and urban gardening. Professor Melzer currently teaches for Ohio’s first Sustainability Degree program at Baldwin-Wallace College (a program he helped to develop) and has taught various courses at the college level including Biology, Zoology, Ecological Design, Anthropology, and Archaeology. Mr. Melzer has been steadily involved in permaculture since 1996 and received his full Certification in Permaculture Design in April 2010.
