With an educational and vocational background in forestry and agriculture, primarily forest conservation and restoration/rehabilitation in natural and agricultural ecosystems, I have consulted farm/forest land owners implementing conservation practices within their agroecosystems. I have worked for many seasons in plant propagation, greenhouses/nurseries, organic farms, and tree farms. I also have several years of land care experience monitoring and remediating the impacts of military training.

My interest in permaculture began with my university studies of agroforestry and discovery of Robert Hart's book 'Forest Gardening'. In 2013, I finally completed a PDC and earthworks course taught by Geoff Lawton and a forest garden design charrette/workshop with Dave Jacke.
