I'm originally from Brasil where I graduated in Architecture and Town Planning in 2003, but for the last 4 years I have been living in Australia.
My first contact with Permaculture was back in Brazil in 2004 through the IPEP (Permaculture and Ecovillages Institute from Pampa) where I attended to a Ecobuilding Course. Later in 2008 I attended the Ecovillages Design & Implementation Course at IPEC (Permaculture and Ecovillages Institute from Cerrado). In Australia I lived in Sydney for 3 years but after my PDC decided to quit my job in an Architectute company and do some hands on Permaculture work. I moved to a community in the Thora Valley with my partner where for about 1 year we developed one of the house sites based on the Permaculture principles, with a really low budget to gain practical experience and live it 24/7.
Now I am at Zaytuna Farm doing the 10 weeks Internship with Geoff Lawton. Two weeks before starting the internship me and my partner moved to Wooloweyah to start working with Urban Permaculture and food production in small towns. I am still working with sustainable building design and also Permaculture Consultancy. More to come very soon!
