I am a long-time organic gardener and previously founded and managed organic food stores in Colorado and Oregon. I currently host a 10 family community garden at my house and work full-time as a professor at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. Subjects taught include Entrepreneurship, Green Business, Sustainability, and Permaculture and Edible Forest Gardening. I serve as a faculty advisor to the FGCU Food Foresters student organization, which manages our half-acre subtropical campus food forest. I am also knowledgable about alternative/holistic medicine. My intention is to develop a permaculture/ sustainable living teaching center.
