Following a 20-year career in the computer industry, starting as an engineer and spending most of the time in marketing, I left to find something more fulfilling. My personal passion is the study of monetary systems and their influence on the directions of societies and power structures.
I became involved in permaculture through friends in the Hudson Valley in New York and see it as a means to achieve what Warren Johnson describes as 'Muddling Towards Frugality' (from the book of the same name).
My wife and I run a farm and try to practice permaculture on the site and convey our values to our interns.
