Hello Permaculture Friends,

My background is in Information Technology (IT), in a form of systems and process engineering called software configuration management. Looking at the big systems picture naturally lends itself to systems thinking for permaculture. So after spending lots of time in the field of Information Technology, I now have more time to spend on making a difference.

I continue to work on IT projects in addition to pursuing Ecological Design projects. From 2013 through Spring of 2014, much of my free time was spent on the Urban Patchwork project known as the Festival Beach Food Forest. This public food forest is the first of its kind in Austin, Texas. Since moving to Galveston Island in 2014, I started a Permaculture Galveston group to connect with like-minded people. My current focus is volunteer work on local farms and homesteads.

Wherever I live and for however long, I am committed to building community. Future generations are counting on us. Let's permaculture this place!
