I have been on a journey of educating myself the past several years as to the actual state of things in the world. At first most of the knowledge made me angry at the injustices and exploitations occurring to people and creation, but at some point I felt led to move beyond learning of the problems to learning how to be a part of the solution.
I began by starting a business teaching, designing, and installing organic Square Foot Gardening-based gardens, as well as offering low-emission mowing services through my company Urban Eden. Feeling there was something more, I discovered permaculture shorty thereafter, earning my PDC in 2011.
Presently, my wife and I are preparing to move to the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana for my new job as a permaculture designer and land manager for ABC Acres/Abundant Tomorrow! We also will be returning to Uganda to continue development on a working permaculture demonstration farm. I am attending Midwest Permaculture's teacher training to be qualified as a certifying instructor for a PDC to be held this winter as a follow-up to intro workshops I taught last winter. I feel very blessed to be a part of the permaculture community!
