I grew up on a hobby farm in Iowa, not realizing just how damaged the land was around me.
I came to Permaculture as an activist, wanting to heal the damage of industrial civilization.
I spend my days in the garden, watching bees, chickens, ducks. Nibbling currants and cilantro. Planting herbs and shrubs and trees as I learn about them, creating a garden that is like nothing I've seen elsewhere.
