Husband, father of four, working towards being somewhat self-sufficient on 50 acres in the Mount Crawford Forest region of the Adelaide Hills. We've sold up and escaped from Suburbia but have not yet managed to completely escape the economy.

We're trying to build a Permaculture design for our property, which has been used solely for livestock grazing throughout the history of European occupation. Providing as much of our own labour as possible and acknowledging that Rome wasn't built in a day, but everything we do brings us one step closer to our goal.

I am inspired by all that Graham and Anne-Marie Brookman have achieved at The Food Forest, Gawler River SA.

I intend to acquire the skills needed to provide abundantly for our extended family and a small village community located on our property in a fossil fuel depleted future.
