I originally studied mechanical engineering, (to satisfy the aspirations my parents had for me). I have never enjoyed this study and I believe it greatly limited my creativity and design aspirations.

How I became interested in permaculture is a process. First, I noticed my health wasn't all that great, and one day I stumbled across the documentary Seeds of Deception, it literally brought me to tears. That was the day I decided to go fully organic, I removed all suspect items in the pantry and told my wife that we're going fully organic. Next I started learning about the packaged foods we eat and what ingredients are used to make them... and made sure that anything I bought had credible ingredients. Later learning about the monetary system through the series by Mike Maloney, Hidden Secrets of Money, and also heeding the warnings from Robert Kiyosaki, I decided that we will need to do something about food security... that was when I stumbled across video about Geoff Lawton's greening the dessert project. From there I became fascinated with this permaculture concept. Finally when our family moved into our new house, I had the opportunity to present my grand plan for a food forest with my wife and decided that I had to do this course to grow and supply all of our own food and also start a new business venture doing something I am passionate about.

I am currently busily establishing my own property into a food forest (in my spare time), my intentions is to become a permaculture designer/consultant and teacher to help others help themselves, and help change the world, one backyard at a time. God gave us so many things in abundance, all we have to do, is be still, observe all that is around, and work with nature to build a wellness life.
