My name is Adam Al-Jamal, and I am half Hungarian half Palestinian born in Budapest, Hungary, and raised in Budapest, Prague, and Beirut. I currently live in Ankara, Turkey. Both my parents' families come from a agricultural and farm management background, so my interest for nature and permaculture does not come as a surprise. Since I was a kid I always had a passion for nature, helping people in need, and helping out the Earth.
Shortly before graduating high-school, i was confused on how to pursue my passion; however, one day, my Mom stumbled into permaculture while she was reading an article about self-sustainability... As soon as I read into it I knew that this will be my future, and that I will dedicate my life to permaculture and do whatever it takes to spread the word about it. I took my PDC in July 2012 which made me fall in love with the permaculture even more, so I decided to book a spot in the internship.
My goals for the future are to do consultancies, PDCs, aid work, reforestation, and to eventually establish a farm where I can demonstrate to the whole world the miracles of permaculture, and to teach people how to put it to good use.
