I have volunteered and worked for the University of North Florida health promotions department at the campus organic garden and education site as a student farmer and educator. I have worked and lived on site at a North Florida native and edible plant nursery and licensed aquaponics facility. I have assisted in mushroom production, organic gardening and fermentation workshops. As of Jan. 16, 2015 I am a graduate of Geoff Lawton's PDC at Zaytuna Farm!
I became interested in permaculture after working at my college organic garden site and began participating in workshops and community activities. I only studied permaculture for pleasure until I had an opportunity to travel to Austrailia and learn at PRI Australia.
Having just completed my PDC I intend to begin consulting when I return to the states as well as hosting workshops and growing the permie community. With time and experience I hope to spend a lot of time doing aid work.
