My family has lived in Perth for at least 3 generations. At the moment I am also living and working in Perth. I never actively searched for permaculture, it was the stories of my dad and mum about how they used to live that got me interested in self productive style of living. This saw my interest move to friendlier versions of ways to live. e.g. organics, renewable power sources and water storage. My introduction to Permaculture came about when looking at the perth city farm website. It was then a push from my fiance that saw us introduce it into our lives. At the moment I am using the concepts introduced to us from the PDC to work towards developing our small block into a productive piece of suburban land.
