Hello everyone, my name is Malik. While British by birth, I’ve lived in Malaysia for the last 22 years, working primarily in advertising.

I discovered permaculture less than a year ago (2012) happening upon it quite by accident as I searched for ways and means by which I might have more say in and more control of the kind of food my family consumes each and every day.

Yes, I'm a late starter and have much to learn but honestly, little else in my life has ever excited or inspired me quite so much; for that I feel personally indebted to Messrs Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton for the wealth of knowledge they have and, I hope, will long continue to share with the likes of me and the world at large.

indeed, the fine example they have set has sparked in me a renewed sense of purpose that I intend to pursue with a passion for the rest of my life. I can only hope that in so doing I might also inspire the odd person or two along the way.
