Grew up in Southern California & Hawaii. BS degree in Physics & MS in Astronomy. Nearly 25 years working as a system/test engineer on aircraft.
Several years ago, I realized things were not necessarily as they appeared. I slowly got into prepping & was introduced to Permaculture by Jack Spirko of The Survival Podcast. I took Geoff Lawton's Online Permaculture Design Course in Summer 2013 and made a design for my 2.5 acre high desert home.
I intend to continue implementing Permaculture designs on my property in order to become more self-sufficient. I hope to try to develop some presentations to give locally to inspire members of my community to become more self-sufficient and learn to be able to rely on one another when times get tough. I also hope to be able to make a second career as Permaculture promoter/consultant.
