After a 4 year stint in the UK we moved back to the states in 2007 just before the economy melted down and had a major impact on my financial services business. Lots of research and crossing paths with Jack Spirko of The Survival Podcast I was exposed to a new dimension of growing food.

Started with container gardens, expanded to 300 square feet of raised bed gardens with intentions to transition from conventional commerce to self-reliant lifestyle. I have attended a ground breaking (no pun intended) Woody Bed Workshop on the Spirko Homestead. Completed the Urban Permaculture Design Intensive taught by Nicholas Burtner. I am a beekeeper, canner, dehydrator, and learning to utilize permaculture.
