This spring I dug and cover cropped my first two small swales.  Later on, the fruit trees were delivered and planted.  2 apples, 2 plums, 2 pawpaws and an almond.

I added comfrey, potatoes, lemon balm and other herbs to the cover crop of vetch, clover and field peas.  I also planted squashes and pumpkins into the inter-swales.
