Fast learner and active worker, able to organize and direct working groups as much as leading a frontal
lesson. Nature and travel lover in the free time from the full time job of permaculture farmer and
designer, working in Sicily(Italy) and abroad with local organizations promoting food security, sustainable
and organic farming, agroforestry and land conservation and regeneration.

Education
2016 – Started the active learning with the Italian Academy of Permaculture specializing in regenerative
agriculture, swamps and wetlands, terraced farming, fruit production, fair trade economy, fertility and
nutrient dense food production.
2015 – Partecipation to the course of Organic and Regenerative agriculture held by Jairo Restepo Rivera ,
Prtinico (PA-ITALY)
2012 –24 hrs course on garden therapy “L’orto per tutti” , Catania (ITALY)

Work Experiences
2013 up to now – Organizing urban permaculture courses in collaboration with many different local
organizations , designing and re-shaping farms, 2 projects running at the moment.
2011 up top now
– President of the organization “Saja” promoting active research over new tecniques in agriculture, green
building and new forms of social development.
-Farmer, coordinator, found raiser, sales manager, volounteers coordinator, in 3 different projects (Saja
Project, Finca Palta, ZERO project) in a total area of 10 hectars in Sicily producing organic and sustainable
Oranges, Lemons, Prickly pears, Avocados,Olives, various citrus and temperate climate fruits, vegetables
and much more!
2009-2011 – Vicepresident of the local organization Opera Nomadi, organizing projects of schooling, legal
and health assistance, promoting cultural events (conferences, concerts, art events ) to promote RRoma
culture among citizens and institutions.
2008 – Volountary work for three months teaching english to street kids and adults with the NGO “Calle”
in the favela of Tabajaras in Rio De Janeiro (Brasil).
-2008 for 2weeks Tanslator and mediator doing reports from Syrian, Iraqi and Afgan refugees camps in
Turkey in the Urfa district with the Organization “İnsan Hakları Derneği”.
2007 – Volounteering for three months with the NGO“Jardin de los niños” in Misiones
province(Argentina)re-oragnizing the spaces and activities for a retirement center building up social
gardens, promoting activities for street kids and drugs addictions and organizing some activities in a
center for young mothers.
2006 Colaboration for three months with the organization “Jafra” of Damascus (Syria) working for the
rights of Palestine refugees.
2002 – For a period of nine months i did voluntary work in the pediatric department of the city
universitary hospital of Padova (ITALY) while still studying at high school.
