I have great respect for our environment. I believe it is our job to make this earth’s environmental conditions better, or at least not worse when our grandchildren come into the world. There are so many simple techniques that can be implemented to see tremendous results.

For the past few years I have expanded my knowledge of the sustainable environmental industry. I have studied the building sciences of thermal heating and cooling, the building shell, air leakage (seal it tight, vent it right), lighting, passive housing, and health and safety. With that I took my knowledge to BPI (Building Performance Institute), and am now a certified building analyst and operator. To get deeper into the green building industry I worked on USGBC (United States Green Building Council) material and obtained my LEED GA (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate) license. I also worked for a while as an agent to sell a zero waste conversion process technology that converted bone waste into bone-char (a high phosphorous material), and two by-products of bio-fuel and liquid nitrogen. I am now (2014) designing a self-sustainable permacultural edible fruit/production forest in a four-acre land in Wawarsing, NY.
