I came to permaculture while looking for a way to integrate the various pieces of our farm into a coherent system. My IT background led me to take a systems approach to farming and that naturally leads to permaculture.

Presently, I admin the Midwest Homesteading and Permaculture facebook page, and continue to lead meetings of the Central Iowa Permaculture Guild with that membership as the base. We are also beginning implementation of our farms long term perennial crop plan. I am offering limited consultations in Central/South Central Iowa.
