Suburban Permaculturist living in Wisconsin, USA. Interests in Urban Food / Energy / Resource Production. Currently living on .5 acres (.25 HA) including our house in Zone 5 (-15 F, -26 C winter lows) with a goal of producing 2000# (900 kg) of produce annually. Project is still young, only about 5 years old, but 870# is our record thus far. The guilded orchard is still young, and we jsut added a 1100 sq ft (102 sq m) canning garden and a 330 sq ft (30 sq m) Hoop House (poly tunnel). Special interest areas are biomass crops - willows primarily and soil building.
