Where to start?
Since studying ecology in the days of the 1980s stockmarket meltdown, I have been interested in the application of systems thinking to a broader range of life's issues. Various experiences have taken me on a 20 year move from from coal-face urban environmentalism to regional family + small-business life where I now strive to live each day in concert with my values.
I possess a number of qualifications, ranging from Certificate to Doctorate, and am member of a number of professional organisations. My belief is that change comes not from going without, but from working within.
My activities have grown to focus on my own role within my own community. As such, my work focuses on the community connections that are needed to create the resilience that underpins sustainable implementation of the 3 permaculture ethics.
Oh, and yesterday I took the first steps to do some guerilla worming ... just need about 10 months to breed up a million worms.
After about 8 weeks and as many days, the students of this PDC have finally taken over and planned the rest of the course.

Whatever it is, it is fun and productive. After 4 years openly encouraging people to share garden space, I now have two people sharing my garden in the space a week.
After moving the vege garden to the front yard, and taking the lock off the gate, at last someone has decided to share the space.
