I am almost 54 years old, mother of 2 daughters and a son, grandmother to 2 children.

My past is very varied but farming has been part of it, here in SA though for many years I was working in the art department of feature films and commercials, having had art school training.
I was introduced to permaculture by some friends in 1998 and a year later we had some teams and gardens going. This did not last very long and I went to Europe for health and personal reasons. I returned to SA in 2004, to this lovely Garden Route, Eden as its known.

I completed a PDC at Berg en Dal in the Klein Karoo South Africa in 2009. A year ago I acquired a 2ha smallholding at the edge of the indigenous forest National Park here on the Garden Route. My vision is a permaculture based interactive centre, with strong connections to the local communities. We will be facilitating natural building, permaculture and many other workshops in the coming years.
