I have a PDC (Permaculture Association of Britain), a management degree and a looong experience in many areas: been an activist and volunteer for a number of NGOs on animal welfare, social justice and environmental issues; worked on the education sector, cultural institutions, done web admin, grant management, events management, publishing (as an entrepeneur), etc.

I became strongly interested on permaculture when looking for a model which would work simultaneously for people, animals and environment as a whole. It's not enough to fight against injustice, we need a constructive alternative model that we can prove as being functional, inclusive, intelligent, abundant and offering quality of life without depleting but benefiting and making the best out of local resources.

I am Portuguese, been living in London for the last 4 years and plan setting up a permaculture site in the next couple of years - preferably back in the southwest coast of Portugal though I am open to other locations as long as by the sea and in a temperate/warm weather. I am currently looking for a property that I can buy myself or share with other people. I am flexible on the model.
