Hi everyone.
I'm a graduate of Louisiana State University. Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture(2005). Masters of Landsacape Architecture(2009). I've worked a bit in both the landscape and horticulture fields. I also spent many years working with kids as an outdoor educator and summer camp program director. Also some wilderness therapy.
In 2012 I began exploring Permaculture and purchased a vacant lot in the city on which to experiment. I finished my first PDC in Houston under Bob Randall(2013) and a second PDC under Theron Beaudreau(2015). I currently teach gardening classes in a couple schools. I do some landscaping(consultation, design, and implementation), as well as bee removals.
My project, Inwood Eden, is a budding woodland garden in its 4th season. It is being established through dryland techniques in the midst of suburban Houston. My goal is both to learn and experiment, as well as eventually teach and empower. My project is constantly being refined into a working model for sustainable establishment and maintenance of a permaculture garden in a very unique bio-region and semi-urban environment.
