(projects i'm following)
Grew up on a farm and developed an interest and curiosity for the natural world. Rode the roller coaster called "life" with it's thrills and chills, and am fortunate to have landed on my feet. Living in Kzoo, MI, USA in a mixed urban neighborhood. My partner, Tomme and I have renovated an old abandoned home, established many ornamental gardens, including a rain garden on our property and last year developed a neighborhood community garden on our property.
My partner Tomme discovered the term "permaculture" and started studying all that it means. We have acquired a few lots on the block next to us from the County Land Bank and are planning a permaculture garden on it. We are very excited to expand the green space on a very visible corridor of the city and provide a model for sustainable practices.
Looking at EVERYTHING through a new lens.
One step forward and . . . ?
