I have a Master's of Science Degree in Environmental Science, and a Bachelors of Natural Resource Science. I have some experience in environmental monitoring and ecological research in the grasslands and Interior Douglas Fir forests.
After a few projects working as an environmental consultant and research assistant - I thought about what I wanted to accomplish with my life other than counting stomata or debating the correct genus name for Bluebunch Wheatgrass. Reading about holistic landscape management lead me to learn about Permaculture.
Since then I have taken a Permaculture Design Certificate. I hope to work on Permaculture Projects in the future, and combine my scientific background with permaculture design principles and ethics. My first intention is to start a permaculture group in my hometown and become involved in changes within my community.
