I am semi-retired from an organizational development professional life. I devoted three years to creating sustainable community in Louisville CO as a Transition Town. This led to my becoming a permaculturist.

I have completed the New Farmer course with Boulder County Ag Office with Colorado State University and I interned with Kipp Nash in his Community Roots urban farm in Boulder. My wife Sherry and I received our Permaculture Design Certificate Class in October 2011.

In October 2012 we moved to a magical one acre river front home on the Trent River .8 mile from downtown New Bern NC. We are actively designing our food forrest and a 'dock therapy' practice.
