I have had a life long interest in natural principles and law, and how they pertain to the way we live, the food we eat and things we build. I was strongly drawn to the permaculture movement when it hit my radar in 2010. I completed my PDC in 2011 under the mentorship of Jerome Osentowski and Peter Bane at Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute in Basalt, CO.
An entrepreneur at heart, I have largely been self employed throughout life. My first career (and business) was in the Information Technology industry. I worked in several areas which culminated in comprehensive systems design for business. Experience in understanding complexity and diversity in systems which must function reliably was a great advantage as I began my formal education in permaculture design.
I have owned and operated an organic market and yoga studio. I have professional experience in herbalism and wellness consulting. I have a passion for history, particularly those parts they didn't teach in school.
