Christopher Chaisson is a farm planner, builder, designer, and educator.
As founder of Whole Farm Services located in Vermont, Chris has worked with dozens of different homesteaders, and commercial farms to create plans that reflect regenerative design and permaculture plans that provide returns on investment in natural capital and energy.

As Co-Owner of Wild Branch Foods, Chris is presently developing regionally sourced ethno-botanical products from medicinal herbs and mushrooms.

Christopher grew up with a family who raised bees, built their own houses, and were directly involved in the food industry. Being the only one of his generation to be interested in evolving these skills, Chris looked to Permaculture after living at Solviva and other organic farms on Martha's Vineyard in '93,'94, and 1995. These early experiences along with studying landscape design and experiential education have laid the path for an interesting and diverse career path.

Currently Christopher is developing farm training programs and instructing at Yestermorrow Design Build School in Vermont.
After many years of Permaculture Practice and application, the development of thermal mass and Ice enhanced, subterranean and earthbermed structures combined with Cogeneration systems have become the creative hobby of choice.
