Born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario and have made Ottawa my home since 1998. I work in website design and spend most of my spare time learning permaculture and trying to apply it to all dimensions of life.
I have always been interested in living simple and lightly upon the earth while appreciating all of its wonders. I discovered permaculture through learning about global economy and peak oil in the forum community at Chrismartenson.com after watching the Crash Course at the same site.
I am currently an active member/organizer with Permaculture Ottawa and Transition Ottawa. I am a beekeeper, homebrewer, and practice permaculture in the physical realm on our 4 acre off-grid property in west Quebec. My partner and I share a vision of eventually creating a learning/community centre for permaculture and transition.
I'm a little late updating here but I finally did my PDC! My partner and I are also excited to be presenting at our local Permaculture Convergence this year.
