After an engineering school specialized in physics, I felt the need to take a break and look around for smart and long-term initiatives around the world. Having the opportunity to travel, I learnt english, spanish and portuguese languages, and wish to learn more of them.
I began to read about permaculture in winter 2012, while searching for ways to greening the deserts. Bill Mollison's Introduction to Permaculture was quite a revelation, philosophically mostly, soon followed by fukuoka's books. In september 2012, I followed a PDC organized by Steve Read in the Alps.
I am now working for an internional workcamp organizer, and I have the opportunity to get some skills and experience in eco-building.
Just returning from a trip to Tunisia where I had the chance to work in palm groves, this is a summary of what I was able to observe in this almost traditional agriculture system.
