I , Rika Scheepers completed a Permculture course in July 2011 and worked as understudy with Tim Wigley (Khula Dhamma Eco Community) for six months. I also volunteered at a Commercial Organic farm for three months and lived at Rainbow Homestead and sustainability center for another three months. My passion is to help create a more sustainable lifestyle for the rural communities all around South Africa.

I was feeling very unfulfilled in my previous field of employment and decided to take a leap of faith and ended up at Khula Dhamma, from there I develop an earnest passion for Natural farming.

I am currently looking to get involved with the Eco Schools projects, backed by WESSA. There are many of these programs and I just applied for a position as Project Manager with CET (Children’s Eco Training) at Hoespruit in Limpopo. I am open for suggestions and ideas, I am currently job hunting.
