I 'discovered' Permaculture as a concept in 2007, but have actually practiced certain aspects all my life. Having been raised in rural Southern Appalachia, we used many of these precepts and when I 'found' that there was actually a name for this type of sustainable lifestyle, I was hooked. I have since found so many Permaculture ideas that I never thought about. Since my 'discovery', I immediately put Permaculture into practice on my five-generation Family Farm that I began stewarding in 2008, LoganBerry Heritage Farm.
While I have a long ways to go, now I at least have ideas how to proceed. I just need some professional guidance and some help to accomplish many of the goals that I have established to heal the land and see it blossom.
