I'm interested in building up our local community. I was surprised to find so few people near. I don't have experience, and am looking for encouragement and guidance.

I'm starting composting and an organic garden in my back yard this year. Once I've had a chance to learn from mistakes, I'd like to take what I've learned to the community and get more people involved.

A longer term goal I have is to learn more about permaculture design, and experiment in my yard, before again, taking what I learn to the community.
